Greek gods and goddesses were in every Greek myth, and they all lived together on “Mount Olympus”, which was their home in the sky. There were many temples devoted to them because the Greeks worshipped them, and believed they could solve their problems or interfere with their lives if they did something wrong. In the Greeks point of view, every time the weather changed, or a certain event happened, it was always the gods emotions that were causing it. Since each god or goddess had a different power or ability, they prayed and made sacrifices to different gods depending on what they were asking. They were a very important part of the Greeks’ lives, and the Greeks’ depended on them for everything.
